What is Chartered Financial Planners Status?
Chartered Financial Planners Status is an exclusive title only awarded to firms which meet vigorous criteria relating to professionalism and capability. It is the most widely accepted “gold standard” qualification available for professional financial planners/financial advisers in the United Kingdom. All Chartered Financial Planners, whether they are firms or individuals, commit to the Chartered Insurance Institute’s Code of Ethics, reinforcing the higher standards of professional practice in their business dealings.
Being Chartered Financial Planners carries equivalent qualifications and status as other established professions such as Chartered Accountants and Chartered Surveyors.
What does Chartered Financial Planners Status mean to our customers?
At PML Financial Services, we have always prided ourselves on being thoroughly professional in everything we do and to receive external recognition in this way is very gratifying. As Chartered Financial Planners, we can signal our commitment to the providing the highest levels of services to our customers.
To date fewer than 700 firms have achieved Chartered Status, indicating that this is a highly exclusive award reserved for the leading firms of the industry.
One of our directors, Gay Nebel, is already a Chartered Financial Planner as an individual, of which to date there are approximately 4,600 in the country out of more than 30,000 qualified financial advisers.
