Royal Mail privatisation – good for everyone?

All of you will have been aware of the recent Royal Mail privatisation, and some of you will have bought shares and done quite nicely as a result. However, Geoff Stait asks whether the privatisation was as successful George Osborne has claimed. When everything is taken into account, including the true liabilities of the Royal Mail’s pension scheme that we’re left with, last valued at £38 billion, perhaps we’re not all winners.
