Had a look at the web site, really good. Plenty of useful information and all well laid out. My thanks to all at PML and in particular to Gay Nebel who has provided me with a first class service. Well done. Alan G.
Royal Mail :- So if we didnt sell it, what were we to do the pension’s hole is there and growing at last the brakes are on ?
HS2 :- Who knows if its a good investment of not only time will tell. After all the 50 billion or what ever lots of it will go in wages and other Uk sourced product so its not really spent or is it ?
The Deficit :- Well good luck with that
Geoff, as one would expect you applaud the move to workplace pensions – and theoretically so do I. Do not forget however that this adds 3% to a companies labour costs at a stroke. For companies like mine with workers on the minimum wage – because to pay more would put us out of business – this is a major problem in difficult times. We already run a scheme, which is taken up by very few, but which is more generous than the new one (up to 4% of wage as the employers contribution, to match employees payment). When this comes in I will have no choice but to cut our contribution to those who already subscribe. Regards, Robin.
