In this issue we focus on the new pension freedoms that are now on the Statute Book.

A quick look at the sentiments I expressed in my last bulletin tells me that I must have been having a bit of a bad day on 25th August! I don’t think it was just the riots – or the personal indebtedness of the younger generation, but something started my chain of thought that seemed to finish up with lamentations over the possibility of a UK economic depression!

Well, despite the continuing economic gloom, I’m feeling brighter now – and keen to talk about the new pension freedoms that are to be found within the new regulations now on the Statute Book!
